Students who are currently in attendance and in good academic standing (at least a 2.0 grade point average and eligible to return) at another college or university may apply to Western Michigan University to take classes as a guest student.
Guest admission does not constitute degree admission to Western Michigan University.
4. How to submit your application
If you are a student at a college or university to become a guest student do one of the following:
1. Use the Michigan Uniform Guest Application PDF available from the Office of Admissions Web site. Please note that students whose attending institution is outside the State of Michigan may also use this application.
If your current institution requires use of the paper application, complete Part I and take it to the Registrar’s Office so that Part II can be completed and sent to our office. We accept faxed applications, as well as mailed applications with Part I completed that have a transcript attached.
