East Beltline Construction Directions

The WMU area on East Beltline Ave SE will soon be under construction and travel delays are likely from now until the end of August. During that time, it will be much easier to get into and out of WMU property by way of Burton St. SE.

On Burton Street, across from Calvin College (at the first stoplight west of the East Beltline) turn south onto Raybrook St SE. As indicated on the map (in red) follow Raybrook, veering left as it turns into Claystone St. Just beyond Valleywood Drive, turn right into the entrance of a parking lot (back entrance to Arbor Mortgage). Drive (slowly and cautiously) through it until it turns into an access road (labeled Western Way on the map). Proceed to the stop sign at University Drive. Turn right onto University Dr and follow it around into the WMU parking area. Exit the same way out to Burton Street to completely avoid Beltline Avenue traffic congestion during the construction period.
