You might be surprised to find that WMU Librarians are more than stodgy book collectors. Rather, the focus of our work is to help you achieve the best possible project-results by offering a variety of research services. These services are particularly important for our non-traditional students, because we’re aware that you can not conveniently go to the library during a lunch break or on the way to the local bank. We know that non-traditional students have hectic schedules, including family responsibilities and full-time jobs. With these things in mind, our services are designed to facilitate your search for information, and then put that information at your disposal as quickly as possible.
We can help you find the best database for the task at-hand, retrieve articles and books for you, and when necessary we can narrow your list of research topics. Your time is at a premium, and when we do our job, then you may focus on reading, considering information, and finishing your coursework.
